– Bílina – Louny – Rakovník Total distance: 190
km Riders: Tomáš (Yamaha XJR 1300),

As real bikers we couldn't resist the first rays of sun..
After
shorter rides around we set out for our first trip in this year with
our new bike (Bobinka - Honda VFR 750F). Our goal was
rocky hill Bořeň south from Bílina in České středohoří, CZ.
We didn't take even a map with supposing that Aleš will find the way,
because he's been there for many times as climber. The way got
complicated by detour in Louny, we got lost a little (through Most) and
later we also couldn't find the right hill :-) Already a little frozen we we finally found what we were looking for. We
parked in front of the pub to buy some drinks. Closed. So we set out up
the huge hill. I thought I'd die from thirst and also the kilos I
gained during my illness were pretty heavy. Boys went far in front of me
all the time laughed at my heavy breath. The 539 over the sea level high hill was worth the struggle. When I
climbed up, the view was definitelly worth it. Beautiful scenery indeed.
We saw Bílina and
České
středohoří and the wall of Krušné hory.
Downwards
we almost slided on our asses - the rests of snow were pretty slipery
and Aleš feared for his camera more than for his bones and so he
defended it with his own body. When we slided all the way down, the pub was already open. We didn't
resist and went in for lentil soup - superb indeed.
It
was already dark, when we got ready for our way back and air also
became very cold. We came back home frozen, but the trip was beautiful.
